Error when posting a message

description

I'm getting the following error when I try to post a message:

"The security validation for this page is invalid. Click Back in your Web browser, refresh the page, and try your operation again."

I think this has something to do with AllowUnsafeUpdates

My enviornment is MOSS w/ SP2, x64.

I'm getting the same error.

When looking at the SharePoint logs I find this:
Creating list "SPMessaging_MessageList" in web "http://collaborationntlmtest" at URL "Lists/", (setuppath: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\Template\Features\CustomList\custlist") The list "SPMessaging_MessageList" in web "http://collaborationntlmtest" was not created. hr = 0x81020012.
Failed to create list "SPMessaging_MessageList" in web "http://collaborationntlmtest", HRESULT=0x81020012. List XML: "<List xmlns:ows="Microsoft SharePoint" Title="Basic List" FolderCreation="FALSE" Direction="0" Url="Lists/Basic List" BaseType="0"/>"
Failed to instantiate list 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\Template\Features\CustomList\custlist'
The specified name is already in use. A list, survey, discussion board, or document library cannot have the same name as another list, survey, discussion board, or document library in this Web site. Use your browser's Back button, and type a new name

And true enough, the list has been created in my first attempt to write a message.
I then added a message to this list manually, but it doesn't show up in webpart.

If I then debug on the error I get the picture I have attached, indicating that the code tries to create the list at every post and that this fails because its already there.
